PARTY – The Rucksack

This is one of the main parts of PARTY starring Alex Rudolf and a huge Rucksack. They accidentally meet, they fall in love, they skate. Great story, i know. Don´t take it too serious, my goal was just to create an ironic view on what we do instead of a typical skate profile.

Filmed in summer of 2008 all over Germany. Shot with canon XH-A1, redrock micro and canon FD lenses, colour corrected with magic bullet looks. The song used is one of my alltime favorites, “Rubicon” by Alan Braxe & Fred Falke.

Funny side note: The most difficult and annoying part of shooting this short flick was to carry my camera equipment, my skates, a big tripod and the huge rucksack to every session with Alex. With two hands. Without a car!
